I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York. I am passionate about mental health and am fully committed to helping those in their journey towards healing. I am particularly focused on helping women through their reproductive journey. I have advanced training in Perinatal Mental Health and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders.
I graduated from New York University with my Masters in Social Work. I have postgraduate training in psychodynamic psychotherapy from the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy. In addition, I completed New York University's Palliative and End of Life Care post-graduate certificate program. I am a life-long learner, always seeking to advance my knowledge. Throughout my career, I have continued to build competency and add skills to my professional tool box.
I have over 15 years of experience working in a variety of outpatient and inpatient settings, including substance abuse, domestic violence and hospitals. I am experienced in treating maternal mental health, trauma, anxiety, work and relationship stress. I understand the impact of illness on well-being and within families. I integrate different treatment modalities to ensure you are meeting your therapeutic goals. My focus is on building a respectful environment of safety and acceptance that enhances personal growth. Together, we will uncover patterns that may be obstacles to intimacy, connection and reaching life goals.
