Maternal Mental Health
Did you expect an easier experience becoming pregnant? Are you overwhelmed by the changes you feel while pregnant ? Are you surprised by your struggles postpartum? You are not alone. Our society paints a specific picture of what it will be like to get pregnant and be pregnant. It also suggests a joyful postpartum period filled with blissful memory making experiences. These narratives often leave women feeling shame, guilt, anxiety and depression when their unique experiences do not meet the ones projected in our society, families and media. Whether you experienced fertility struggles, perinatal loss, a traumatic birth experience, postpartum anxiety or are feeling isolated, therapy can be instrumental in supporting your mental health and reducing symptoms. I am passionate about supporting women in their reproductive journey and in their steps to motherhood.
